AMD Radeon Vega Nova, Eclipse and Core, three versions with different prices

We have already seen earlier reports that the Sunnyvale firm could release several graphics cards based on the Vega graphics core, and now new information ensures that there will be a total of three versions identified as AMD Radeon Vega Nova, Eclipse and Core.

AMD Radeon Vega Nova

The information makes sense, although it does not detail the possible specifications of each one or the date of release. Nevertheless, there is a summary of its approximate performance by direct comparison with NVIDIA solutions, as well as their possible prices.

  • AMD Radeon Vega Nova: would be the most powerful solution of the three and would compete with the GTX 1080 TI. Its price would be about $ 599.
  • AMD Radeon Vega Eclipse: would compete directly with the GTX 1080. It would have a price of 499 dollars.
  • AMD Radeon Vega Core: would be direct rival of the GTX 1070 and would cost 399 dollars.

Based on this information everything points to that AMD Radeon Vega Nova would have 4,096 shaders and 16 GB of HBM2, reason why it is possible that the AMD Radeon Vega Eclipse goes down to 3,584 shaders and 8 GB of HBM2. On the other hand, AMD Radeon Vega Core could have 3,328 shaders and 4 GB of HBM2.

They are approximate figures that we have calculated based on the 64 units of computation that integrates the graphical core Vega 10 and also the information that at the time gave the own AMD, so they are quite credible, but keep in mind that still nothing is sure in this sense.

We will be watching to see what AMD presents next May 31, but if this information is fulfilled we have clear that it will be good news for the consumers and that finally there could be price war in the high range. This was all about AMD Radeon Vega Nova, Eclipse and Core.
