ASUS begins the Taiwan Fair with the presentation of a laptop that has it all – ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550, productivity with a display of generous dimensions and resolution; Power with the Intel Kaby Lake and dedicated graphics and low thickness and weight for its features.
The cover letter of ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550 is a 15.6-inch IPS multi-touch screen with native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, mounted on an 18.9 mm thick aluminum chassis and weighing 1.8 kilograms, including a battery that the firm says will offer 12 hours of autonomy.
It uses the latest generation of Intel (Kaby Lake) processors with the option to mount to the most advanced notebook platform, a Core i7-7700HQ with 8 wires and a working frequency up to 3.8 GHz. 16 Gbytes of DDR4 memory, PCIe solid state drives with up to 1 Tbyte capacity and dedicated NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory complete the main configuration.
ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550 also has a new dual fan cooling system to maintain low temperatures on CPU and GPU. Mounts a premium audio system with four Kardon Harman speakers, a trackpad glass with fingerprint reader and Type-C USB ports with support for Thunderbolt 3.
With Windows 10 pre-installed, ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550 will be available in July with a base price of $ 1,299.
