ASUS ZenFone 4 appeared on Geekbench: Specs

A few days ago, ASUS has introduced a smartphone ASUS ZenFone 4 Max – is the first device of a new flagship line ZenFone 4. Next in line to become a regular ZenFone 4. Some users may get confused, because in 2014 the company released a smartphone with the exact same name. However, it was the entry-level model and the new ZenFone 4 will be the representative of the middle class. According to recent data, the device is expected in two versions.

Reportedly, ASUS ZenFone 4 is available in two versions: with processors 630 and Snapdragon Snapdragon 660. Would they differ in appearance or other characteristics – is unclear.

Meanwhile, ASUS_Z01KD model with Snapdragon chipset 660 has been tested in the Geekbench benchmark. He made it known that it has 4 GB of RAM, and it works on the basis of Android 7.1.1.

Interestingly, the ASUS ZenFone 4 in the benchmark scored an 855 and 4127 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. These results are extremely low for processor Snapdragon 660. Other devices with the chipset in gaining the same benchmark order of 1650 and 5250 points.

Note that the coming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will also be available in two versions with processors 630 and Snapdragon Snapdragon 660. These two smartphones will give hard competition to each other.

The date of release of ASUS ZenFone 4 has not yet been announced.
