The Taiwanese company intends to present the new ASUS ZenFone 4 during the next month of July, a date that is a little delay compared to the launch of ZenFone 3 (May 2016).
As we can read in the source of the news that delay is due to ASUS has carried out a major redesign in the new ZenFone 4, and also to the introduction of improvements that will be noted especially in the efficiency of the terminal.
This has been confirmed by the CEO of the company, Jerry Shen, who also said that ZenFone 5 will be officially announced at the 2018 MWC, an event that will be held in Barcelona as usual.
This means that the next top of the Taiwanese giant will wear “the crown” for only seven months, a fact that perfectly reflects the “madness” that involves having to renew flagship following the model of annual cycle that has imposed in the industry.
They have not transcended the complete specifications of ASUS ZenFone 4 but everything points to that it will have a screen of 5.5 inches and resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Being a top-of-the-range model should use a state- of-the-art SoC, although we have nothing clear whether it will be a Snapdragon 835 or a Helio X30 from MediaTek.
The RAM should be at least 4 GB and it would be normal for ASUS to mount a configuration with double rear camera to follow the “new standard” sector. The price of this new terminal ASUS ZenFone 4 could be around $ 500.
