Complete specifications of Intel Core i7 8700, Core i5 8600 and Core i5 8400

Following are leaks on the next generation of Intel processors based on the Coffee Lake architecture, of which have identified specific models that respond to the name Intel Core i7 8700, Core i5 8600 and Core i5 8400.

Intel Core i7 8700

We have already given you information on them in previous articles but today we were able to take a look at their complete specifications, including the clock frequencies in both normal and turbo mode.

The table that is attached is very clear, but we also leave a summary in case you have any doubt:

  • Core i7 8700K: six cores and twelve wires at 3.7 GHz-4.3 GHz, normal and turbo mode. Up to 4.7 GHz with an active core and TDP of 95 watts. Multiplier unlocked.
  • Core i7 8700: six cores and twelve wires at 3.2 GHz-4.3 GHz, normal and turbo mode. Up to 4.6 GHz with an active core and 65 watt TDP. Multiplier blocked.
  • Core i5 8600K: six cores and six wires at 3.6 GHz-4.1 GHz, normal and turbo mode. Up to 4.3 GHz with an active core and TDP of 95 watts. Multiplier unlocked.
  • Core i5 8400: six cores and six wires at 2.8 GHz-3.8 GHz, normal and turbo mode. Up to 4 GHz with an active core and TDP of 65 watts. Multiplier blocked.

Intel Core i7 8700

These new processors will use the socket LGA1151, so it is said that they will be compatible with Intel’s 100 series and 200 series chipsets but has not yet been officially confirmed.

Its launch is expected for the end of the summer, specifically between the months of August and September. We have no details about possible selling prices.
