Crucial BX300: Fast and Economical SSD for Input Range

Crucial BX300 is the new series of solid state drives that the specialized memory integrator is exhibiting in Taiwan. It is about the renewal of the BX200 series and like it, they offer SSDs destined to the great consumption with good performance and a much adjusted price.

Crucial BX300

Crucial BX300 mounts the new Micron NAND 3D memories and a SM2263XT controller from Silicon Motion. Connected to a SATA-III interface, it offers read / write data transfer speeds in excess of 500 Mbytes per second.

The units will be offered in a standard 2.5-inch format with a thickness of 7 mm to be installed on any laptop or desktop PC with an adapter. We assume we will include the Acronis True Image HD Suite as it usually does Crucial.

Crucial BX300 will be commercialized from July 4 with capacities of 128, 256 and 512 Gbytes. No prices have been provided but it will be very economical. They do not reach the performance of the M.2 to PCIe, but they are very interesting for the price to be replacing hard disks.
