A leak has allowed us to confirm that the OnePlus 5 will come equipped with a dual rear camera configuration, as indicated by numerous rumors that we had been seeing previously.
This is a normal move since as we know these types of configurations have become a trend in the mobile industry, although there are still manufacturers of the first level as Samsung has decided not to “get on the car” at the moment.
OnePlus co-founder and CEO Peter Lau has also confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will be a very thin terminal, although he has not talked about concrete measures so we cannot draw conclusions.
At the level of specifications we have already commented that this smartphone will be a true top of range, as it will feature:
- 5-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
- SoC Snapdragon 835.
- GPU Adreno 540.
- 6 GB of RAM or 8 GB of RAM, depending on version.
- 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage capacity.
- Double rear camera of 12 MP and front of 8 MP.
- 000 mAh battery.
And what about the OnePlus 4?
In China the number four is synonymous with bad luck since its pronunciation is very similar to the word death, something that has generated a very strong rejection to that number and has even come to limit its use in general.
Because of this, it is possible to find, for example, building blocks and elevators that do not have a fourth floor, although there are also other extreme cases in the professional as well as the private.
Since OnePlus is a company based in Canton (China), it is perfectly understood that they wanted to do without the 4.
