Razer Blade Stealth 2017: Specs, Release Date and Price

Razer is expanding its line of notebooks with the Stealth Blade, now with a 13.3-inch screen and the same size as the existing 12.5-inch model thanks to reduced bezels.

Razer Blade Stealth 2017 maintains the spectacular looks of its younger brother, as well as its extreme thinness of 13.1 mm and its weight contained in 1.33 kilograms. Razer continues to rely on Sharp for its screens and this time it assembles a multi-touch panel with QHD + resolution and the usual quality with support for 100% of the sRGB color gamut.

It uses Intel Kaby Lake processors, solid-state drives for storage, backlit and anti-ghosting keyboard, good connectivity with Thunderbolt 3 and Killer network card and details such as integrated TPM 2.0 module.

Although Razer specializes in high-performance gaming machines (Blade 14), Blade Stealth is more focused on competing from Windows with models like the MacBook Pro, aimed at a professional audience or the user who wants one of the best ultraportable from the market. Therefore, it does not mount dedicated graphics, although it offers the Razer Core external amplifier for this. A dock that connects to the Thunderbolt 3 port and offers the graphics power of a dedicated desktop.

Razer introduces a new “gunmetal gray” color finish with white backlight, more professional looking than the usual black with neon green tones.

The Razer Blade Stealth 2017 is already on sale on the Razer portal with a base price of $ 1,399. By price, the 12.5-inch model with 2K resolution remains the most interesting in the series, as it is sold in the United States for $ 899.
