Sony will hold an event during IFA 2017 in Berlin in a few weeks to present its new line of phones for the mid-range and high-end, once they decided to focus on these market segments.

Everything indicates that two of these smartphones that will be presented during the technology fair will be the Sony Xperia XZ1 and the Xperia XZ1 Compact, both of which have already leaked some of its features.

These phones have recently been known as models G8341 and G8441, the first as the Sony Xperia XZ1 and the second as the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.

A few weeks ago the Compact model saw it go through AnTuTu revealing that it would mount a processor snapdragon 835 and even leaving the door open to arrive as standard with the new Android 8.0 from Google.

Now the normal model has appeared in Geekbench, one of the most characteristic benchmarks, confirming the presence of an 835 snapdragon processor. Other features of the Sony Xperia XZ1 would be 4GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It seems that only the Compact model would arrive with Android 8.0, although there could be surprises during the event.

While in both benchmark no more specifications have appeared, some previous rumors have commented that these new Sony phones would come accompanied by a battery of 3000mAh (at least in one of the models) and Full HD resolution the lower diagonal screen. Be that as it may, we are only a few weeks away from the IFA Berlin to leave doubts.
