The secondary screen of the Meizu Pro 7 is not electronic ink

We had already spoken to you in previous news of Meizu Pro 7, a terminal that caught our attention because according to some sources it would have a secondary electronic ink screen that would be placed in the back.

The idea seemed very good, especially because it would be tactile and would make it possible to control the basic interface of the terminal without having to resort to the main screen, with all that this implies for the autonomy of the same.

The case is that in the end that secondary screen has been confirmed and we have the first image of it in operation, but unfortunately it is not an electronic ink solution but it is a conventional LCD panel.

We are aware that this new approach continues to have a certain interest, mainly because it allows access to functions that would not be possible with an electronic ink screen, but at the same time it lacks all the advantages of that one.

Contrary sensations that leaves us that secondary screen of the Meizu Pro 7, a terminal that will have a main screen of 5.2 inches, resolution 1080p, SoC MediaTek Helio X30, 4 GB of RAM, double camera of 12 MP rear and frontal of 16 MP.

Next to this standard version will be another call “Plus” that will raise the screen size up to 5.5 inches, maintaining that if the resolution is 1080p. We do not know if any specific section will improve compared to the base model, but it will most likely be offered in optional configurations with more RAM and storage capacity.

The price of the most basic version of Meizu Pro 7 is expected to be around $ 409, while the “Plus” model would be around $ 480.
