There will be no Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini, according to a Samsung engineer

Just a few hours ago a leak showed what could be the first features of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini in which the company would be working. According to a Samsung engineer, there will be no mini version of the company’s newly released flagship and Samsung would only have to focus on the Galaxy Note 8.

Yesterday we knew how the Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini could be thanks to new rumors. It was expected to be a mobile that would hold the 4 GB of RAM and maintain the Infinity Display, so characteristic. It would also keep the same 12 megapixel camera on the back and a front camera with iris recognition.

Instead of the bet by the Exynos 8895 the phone would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and it is expected that the battery was of smaller capacity, due to the reduction also of the dimensions of the phone with respect to Samsung Galaxy S8 and with respect to Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

However, it seems that this phone will not come to light according to a new rumor. A leak via Twitter comments that a Samsung engineer has stated that there will be no Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini. Samsung would focus on launching its new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which is expected this fall.

There are rumors both one and the other so we will have to keep waiting to know officially whether or not there will be a mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 for all those who such a large screen is not comfortable.
