Will the Apple iPhone 8 also have a Plus version?

We have long known that Samsung Display is producing the OLED panels of the Apple iPhone 8 that will be released during the month of October, one of its main attractions. While Cupertino had previously estimated that Cupertino would release two versions of the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 8 commemorative phone, new information from South Korea says we will have two Apple iPhone 8s this year, the normal model and the Plus model.

Apple iPhone 8 Plus

Specifically from source report that if the Samsung Display factory dedicated to the production of the iPhone 8 yields to full performance, they estimate that it will be able to produce during this year an average of 124 million panels of 6 inches and 130 million panels of 5, 8 inches. Until now it was known that the Apple iPhone 8 would mount a 5.8-inch panel but no reference was made to a larger 6-inch model. With this we would have up to 5 models of the new Apple phone.

Those of Cupertino could launch into the ring with the output of up to five phones this course: the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, also the rumored renovation of the iPhone SE and these two versions of the Apple iPhone 8, one with a screen of 5.8 inches and another with 6 inch screen.

Obviously we should receive this kind of information with caution since they do not come from official sources, but it is curious that a related industry in South Korea has mentioned this possibility that could release on the market up to two models of the new iPhone 8.

The Apple iPhone 8 will be a phone that will change substantially from its predecessor, not only offering a design inspired by the iPhone 4s with glass body, but also with state-of-the-art specifications among which would be recording video to 4K from both cameras of the device.
