Acer is updating its line of convertibles that premiered at the last fair IFA, with a new model Acer Spin 1 that improves especially in the screen, lightness and quality of construction.
Acer Spin 1 maintains the hinged design line that allows you to rotate the multi-touch screen up to 360 degrees to facilitate different modes of use, from laptop to tablet. Nevertheless, it leaves the plastics to offer a metallic chassis more own of more advanced series.
Acer also enhances its 11.6-inch screen that now mounts a multi-touch IPS panel with Native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and stand for Acer Active optical pens, sold separately.
If outside the changes are in sight, inside are not so many, as it repeats the main engine with the Apollo Lake processors, the ultra-low voltage variants of the Intel Kaby Lake, Celeron or Pentium models.
With 4 Gbytes of RAM, Acer Spin 1 will be offered in configurations of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of storage capacity. Other features include 802.11 ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a USB port 3.1, a USB port 2-0 and a microSDXC card slot.
Acer says that the laptop should receive up to 8 hours of battery life. With Windows 10 pre-installed, its sale price of $ 329 is adjusted for what it offers.
Acer Spin 1 is just an appetizer because we need to know the latest in models 3, 5 and 7. Surely we see in the Computex, like other models like the Acer Nitro 5, economic notebook for “casual players” that we advance yesterday.
