Acer has introduced a new version of the Swift 3 in a recent event, which uses AMD’s mobile Ryzen platform as a basis and will be available at the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018 at a price of 799 euros.
The case of the Acer Swift 3 is made entirely of aluminium. With a thickness of 17.95 millimetres and a weight of just over 2 kilograms, the device is quite thin and light. The 15.6-inch IPS display dissolves in Full HD. The illuminated keyboard has a touchpad and a fingerprint sensor.
Acer will launch the Swift 3 with either Ryzen 5 2500U or Ryzen 7 2700U. Both of these CPUs are part of AMD’s mobile Raven-Ridge platform, with one integrated graphics unit and four cores and eight threads each. Optionally, the device will also be available with additional Radeon RX 540. The RAM is 8 GB in size and various combinations of SSD and hard disks are possible. The battery life gives Acer up to 10 hours.
Acer Swift 3 is a superior notebook with the metal layout and slender aesthetics, it includes a silver plated finish all around with the black keyboard. The notebook has a brushed metal finish throughout the casing using Acer emblem in the middle of the lid. In the base of the notebook, we see two side-firing stereo speakers, rubber feets plus a few vents to eliminate heat from the notebook through built-in lovers.
On the other side of the notebook we have the majority of the I/O interfaces that contain; the charging interface, 1 HDMI out, one USB Form C interface, 2 USB 3.0 interfaces and the 3.5-millimeter mic/headphone combo interface.
Launched the Acer Swift 3 notebook made ys understand that this notebook does not have any top notch to open up the lid. Lifting the lid welcomes you with all the stunning Total HD (1920X1080) LCD screen with a minimum black edge round it makes the screen looks magnificent. The lid is connected to the notebook with solitary bar hinge system and correcting the screen wobbles the lid somewhat but that is perfectly fine since it happens with the majority of the notebooks.
