The Taiwanese company has announced its new VivoMini Mini PC series, a range that maintains a compact format and a low weight but that is capable of mounting high-performance components to offer a good user experience.
At the design level, there is not much to say because as we can see in the header image, it has a fairly simple finish with small details that give it a “futuristic” touch. The important thing is in its format since it measures 177.4 mm x 153 mm x 74.1 mm and barely weighs 1.5 kilograms.
The VivoMini Mini PC VC66 can mount seventh generation Core processors like the Core i3 7100, equipped with two cores and four threads; the Core i5 7400, which adds four cores and four threads, and the Core i7 7700, which has four cores and eight threads.
These are your key specifications for the new ASUS VivoMini Mini PC, for a processor, it can support up to Core i7 7700 at 4.2 GHz. Whereas talking about the memory, 128 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD as a dual storage solution (optional), and 4 GB-8 GB of expandable DDR4.
It will come with DVD unit installed on top (optional). For the connectivity features, it will have all full filled features such as Bluetooth, WiFi AC and numerous wired connectivity options (HDMI, USB Type-C, Etc).
The graphics in this mini PC are supported by Intel HD 620-630 integrated graphics with 24 execution units. Of course, it will run on Windows 10 as the operating system.
The most basic configuration of the new VivoMini Mini PC VC66 is priced at 570 euros and includes Core i3 7100, 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, Intel HD 620 graphics and 500 GB hard drive. Does not include a DVD drive.
Even in its base configuration is a quite powerful equipment that can serve without a problem as a multimedia entertainment centre or as a team of work and leisure in small spaces.
