On the website of the Federal Communications Commission, the official specifications of the Nokia 9 (Avatar) smartphone appeared. Unlike previous leaks, this data can be trusted, since it is about certification of the device in official bodies.
So, according to the FCC, the Nokia 9 smartphone will receive a 5.5-inch OLED display from LG, while the Nokia 8 was equipped with an IPS-screen. As a hardware platform, the manufacturer chose a 64-bit 10-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset (rather than Snapdragon 845, as previously thought), containing eight Kryo 280 cores with an operating frequency of up to 2.45 GHz and Adreno 540 graphics.
The data storage capacity is 128 GB; the battery capacity is 3250 mAh. The front camera uses a 5 Mp module, and the dual main camera consists of two 12 Mp and 13 Mp modules. Smartphone Nokia 9 will be shipped with the pre-installed operating system Android 8.0 “Oreo.”
Note that in the FCC data there is no information about the amount of RAM, but thanks to the test in the base of Geekbench benchmarks, it can be with a great deal of assurance that Nokia 9 will receive RAM of 6 GB.
Earlier we repeatedly wrote about this smartphone, but still, the most important thing is the exact date of the announcement and the cost of the new device. You may expect the Nokia 9 on the market shelve early 2018, and probably the good news will come in the 3rd week of January.
