The Korean giant has officially launched the Galaxy Note 8 Special Edition, a limited edition flagship that has a very high price; almost 2,000 dollars.
To develop the Galaxy Note 8 Special Edition in Samsung have joined forces with 99Avant, a creative art firm that has designed a pack of icons and exclusive wallpapers for this edition, in addition to a custom case to protect the device.
The full name of this smartphone is “Galaxy Note 8 X 99 Avant Edition” and the only difference at the hardware level compared to the standard model is the increase in storage capacity to 256 GB.
This means that the rest of its characteristics are identical to those of the standard model and that therefore it has:
Note 8 comes with a Curved SuperAMOLED 6.3-inch 18: 9 screen with a resolution of 2,960 x 1,440 pixels. Under the hood, you will discover a powerful processor based on SoC Exynos 8895-Snapdragon 835 with eight-core CPU. For gaming power, Samsung has picked the powerful GPU Mali G71 MP20 or Adreno 540.
Memory enthusiast will appreciate its 6 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of expandable storage capacity up to 256 GB additional via microSD. We expected more battery in Note 8, but Samsung has settled this device with 3.300 mAh battery with fast QC 2.0 recharge and wireless charging.
For the optics, you will find Double 12 MP rear camera with optical image stabilizer and 2X optical zoom, 8 MP front.
Rest network properties are standard such as 4G LTE Modem Cat. 16 and WiFi AC. And, this phone has also got resistance to dust and water (IP68 certification). At the moment, Note 8 is running Android 7.1.1 as an operating system.
As we anticipate the price of that flagship is almost 2,000 dollars, a figure that is trying to justify more in its exclusivity than in its real value since in theory only 99 units will be sold.
