GIGABYTE has announced the official launch of the GIGABYTE AORUS GTX 1070 Gaming Box, a solution that allows you to use external graphics cards in a simple and efficient way.
We talked about the GIGABYTE AORUS GTX 1070 Gaming Box when we followed the Computex 2017 and in the end have kept all the keys.
This means that this new product has a very compact size thanks to the use of graphic cards in mini ITX format. In its interior, it mounts a GTX 1070 with 8 GB of GDDR5 that also comes with factory overclocking, which allows him to offer an excellent level of performance even in configurations 4K.
The integrated power supply is 450W, which means that it has a very large margin of upgrade and that we can mount new generation graphic solutions without problem, provided they come in mini ITX format.
To connect to the computer, use a Thunderbolt port 3. This is important since it depends on the bandwidth available to the graphics card and this has a clear impact on performance.
With this port, it is possible to reach 40 Gbps, a figure much higher than that offered by traditional USB connectors and allows the GTX 1070 to realize almost its full potential.
GIGABYTE AORUS GTX 1070 Gaming Box also has a customizable RGB LED lighting system and its installation is very simple, since you just have to connect it directly to the Thunderbolt 3 port, install the official NVIDIA drivers and go, we will not even have to restart the system.
GIGABYTE has not given prices so we assume that it could be around $ 599 they posted during this year’s Computex.
