As the presentation of the new Google Pixel approaches, we are getting new rumors about what the most anticipated terminals in the company will be like. In the last hours we have been able to see new images of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL from different perspectives.
These new images of the mobile phones of Google show us new angles of these terminals, which allows us to get an idea of the final appearance of the Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL. However these are filtered images on the final design of these terminals, without official confirmation by Google. We will have to wait until the end of this year, the date for the presentation of the new Google Pixel, which are probably the first to have the Android OS.
In the images that have been leaked from the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL we appreciate that both Google phones would have a similar design, which reminds us of competition terminals like LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. Another highlight is the absence of frames on the screen, a trend that seems to be spreading among mobile phone manufacturers such as the iPhone 8. These new Google mobile phones would follow the same line as their predecessors, with a crystal in the back and metal finish.
The filtered images of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL by some source, shows the absence of the 3.5 mm headphone jack. In the snapshots this connector does not appear in either the top or the bottom of the terminals, something that makes you suspect that they will not have it. In terms of technical specifications, one of the rumors that sound more strongly about the new mobile phones from Google is that they will be the first to use Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 836, which has an improvement over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 835.
As for its dimensions, Android Police says that Google Pixel 2 would measure 145.3 x 69 x 7.8 mm, but with what stands out the camera would have a total width of 8.2 mm. For its part, the dimensions of the Google Pixel 2 XL would be slightly larger, 157.6 x 76.3 x 7, 9 mm (up to 8.6 mm thick). If confirmed these dimensions, the camera would be significantly larger in the new Google phones, perhaps indicative of some surprise.
