A few web sources have exclusive the design of the Galaxy S9, a top-of-the-range flagship that Samsung will present sometime next February and according to the latest information will be available from March.
This date of presentation and launch square with the Galaxy S7 but not with the Galaxy S8, since it was announced in March and launched in April. However, that delay had an apparent justification, and that is that Samsung needed more time to complete additional tests applied to the new design of the terminal.
Returning to the final design of the Galaxy S9 there are no surprises because as we can see in the render that heads the news, the terminal looks almost identical to the Galaxy S8, which confirms that continuity that we had discussed in the previous news.
Although at first sight, it seems that there are no changes, the truth is that if we look carefully, some are appreciated. The most obvious is the change of position of the fingerprint reader, which happens to be just below the back camera and not on the side of it.
The second and less obvious is a small reduction of the upper and lower edges, although it is not as marked as some rumors pointed and therefore does not make a big difference compared to the current generation.
Before finishing we leave you a summary of the specifications of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +:
Galaxy S9 will have the 5.65-inch AMOLED screen with 18: 9 format and QHD + resolution. And, on another hand, Samsung Galaxy S9 plus will have a 6.2 inches AMOLED screen with 18: 9 format and QHD + resolution. For both the phones, the core will be powered with SoC Snapdragon 845 (some markets) Exynos 9810 (international model). For the memory, there will be 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB / 128 GB expandable storage capacity.
Samsung should be serious works with optics. Hence there is 12 MP rear camera and 8 MP front. However, we expect at least dual-camera configuration at the rear of S9. For the battery, the S9 smartphone will have 3 100 mAh battery. Fingerprint reader, a 3D iris scanner, and water resistance. Android O as an operating system will be there in S9.
