While waiting for the Meizu Pro 7, a phone that is expected with dual display and high-end features, the Chinese brand has launched a new phone for its low-end – Meizu A5. A low cost mobile phone with a design quite similar to the rest of the brand, with plastic body and an interior of entry range but more than enough to cover some needs.
The recently released Meizu A5 has dimensions of 144 x 70.5 x 8.3 millimeters and has a weight of 140 grams. It comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (294 dpi) and 2.5D glass.
Inside, the phone works with a MediaTek quad-core chip, the MediaTek MT6737 at 1.3 GHz with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU dual-core rendering. The chip will be accompanied by a RAM of 2 GB and a fairly poor internal storage of 16 GB, which can be extended via microSD card.
Regarding your multimedia equipment, we cannot expect too much from a terminal destined for the input range. The Meizu A5 has a mainframe of 8 megapixels f/2.0 with dual LED flash and a front camera, for selfies, of 5 megapixels. It will come running with Android 7.0 Nougat along with the layer of marac, Flyme 6.0 and will have a non-removable battery of 3,060 mAh.
The new Meizu phone will have no fingerprint reader or NFC chip but will have the classic connections with GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.1 or with microUSB 2.0 connector.
