ASUS has officially announced the ASUS VivoBook Pro 15, a new laptop with which the Taiwanese company seeks to offer a good balance in terms of value for money.
To this end, it has decided to maintain the metallic finish in aluminum to give a premium touch to the VivoBook Pro 15, but without neglecting the hardware specifications, even in the most basic configuration.
Here are the hardware-level keys for the ASUS VivoBook Pro 15:
- 6-inch screen with 1080p resolution (optional 4K).
- Processor Core i5 7300HQ with four cores at 2.5 GHz-3.3 GHz, normal and turbo mode (Core i7 7700HQ optional).
- 16 GB of DDR4.
- GTX 1050 graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR5.
- Possibility to configure an SSD of up to 512 GB and a HDD of 2 TB.
- Type-C USB connector and WiFi AC connectivity.
- Harman Kardon Speakers.
As we see, it is a fairly powerful equipment and able to offer a good performance in general, thanks to the balance of all its components even in the most basic configuration.
ASUS has not given an exact date of departure and has not specified the final price, but everything indicates that it will cost between 800 and 900 euros (basic configuration).
Could you play current titles with this team?
Yes, but whenever you limit yourself to 1080p resolutions and keep the graphic quality settings at medium or high levels, depending on the requirements of each particular game.
In those that are better optimized or have a lower requirement you can even raise the graphic settings to very high levels, but you must be clear that the included GTX 1050 will not work well in games with 4K resolutions (optional display).
