The Nokia 9 removes prominence to the Nokia 8, will have screen 18: 9

The official presentation of the Nokia 8 has been accompanied by new information on another smartphone top of the range to which we have already referred in previous articles, Nokia 9.

Nokia 9

So far we believed that the Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 were the same smartphone and that these two names had been used by mistake, but now everything seems to point to two different terminals and the first could be the real “Flagship “of HMD Global, the firm that has marketing rights to Nokia smartphones.

HMD Global has confirmed that they still have terminals pending launch and from what we have been able to see in the original source we would be talking about that Nokia 9 and also the Nokia 2, two smartphones that would cover totally opposite markets.

As we anticipate the first will be the true star terminal of HMD Global, while the second will be intended to cover the low end market. In this article we leave you a summary with your specifications of Nokia 9 and some filtered images.

Returning to the Nokia 9 the latest information leaves us a rather geometric design and an entire screen finish that we can see clearly represented in the conceptual design that we accompany. The fingerprint reader would be integrated into the back, just below a dual camera configuration.

We are not clear when it plans to launch HMD Global Nokia 9, but recovering previous leaks we can leave a summary with their possible specifications:

  • Screen of 5.7 inches AMOLED type with 18: 9 format and QHD + resolution.
  • SoC Snapdragon 835.
  • 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity.
  • Double 13MP rear camera, 12MP front camera.
  • Android 7.1.1 as an operating system.
  • Type-C USB connector, fingerprint reader.
