NVIDIA GeForce MX150 has not yet been presented officially but we are aware of its existence because it has been identified in the new notebooks ENVY of HP.
At first glance, the name of this graphical solution puzzles a bit and is normal, since it does not follow the nomenclature of the GTX 10 and seems that it could be a solution directed to the professional sector.
However, everything points to that it is not that, but in fact we are before a customized model that would have been designed especially for laptops and that is constructed on the base of graphic nucleus GP108, the same that gives life to the GT 1030 of NVIDIA.
This means that the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 should have 384 shaders, 24 texture units and 8 raster units. We do not know the working frequencies but we know that it assembles 2 GB of GDDR5, so its memory bus should also be 64 bits although we cannot rule out the presence of one of 128 bits.
At the performance level, NVIDIA GeForce MX150 positions between a GeForce 940MX and a GTX 1050, which means that it is possible to enjoy multimedia content in high resolution (4K) without problems, and even games if we lower resolution and graphic quality.
The main advantage of a graphical solution such as the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 in a laptop is the performance-consumption ratio, since it overcomes any integrated one while maintaining a very good energy consumption.
We expect that in the Computex other laptops equipped with such graphic chip would appear and that we can confirm their complete specifications.
