Thanks to a leak that has occurred, we have had access to a lot of real images of the Nokia 8, a highly anticipated terminal that is destined to become the next top end of the Finnish company.
As we can see in these images we are before a prototype of the Nokia 8 fully functional that is presented in addition dressed in a striking golden copper color.
Since it is a prototype we do not know if HMD Global Company that has the rights to market Nokia smartphones, will decide to maintain that finish when the official launch of said smartphone.
If you look closely at the images that show the back of the smartphone you will see that a dual camera configuration appears, which was already indicated by previous rumors, but no reference is seen to Carl Zeiss, which leaves us two possibilities.
The first is that it is a very old prototype and therefore does not have such a badge. If it confirms the final version of the Nokia 8 that will reach the stores, it should have the Carl Zeiss brand in the back.
The second is that this smartphone may be manufactured before closing the collaboration agreement with the German company, and that therefore not mount Carl Zeiss optics even in the final version.
Otherwise everything remains as before and the metal finish is confirmed again. If everything goes according to plan the Nokia 8 will be presented next July 31 and that has the following specifications:
- 3-inch screen with resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
- SoC Snapdragon 835 with eight-core CPU.
- GPU Adreno 540.
- 4 GB of RAM.
- 64 GB of storage capacity.
- Double 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera.
- Android 7.1.1 as an operating system.
- Price: Less than 700 dollars.
