Not so long ago there was an information in the network that Samsung has decided to postpone the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone from September to August. Originally scheduled for presentation at IFA 2017, which will take place from 1 to 6 September in Berlin, but soon decided to hold the event a little earlier, in late August. Today, these rumors are true Korean edition Naver.
According to the source, Galaxy Note 7, the successor Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be presented at a press event in New York, which will be held on August 26, 2017.
According to preliminary data, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be equipped with dual-core camera production Samsung Electro-Mechanics with two 13-megapixel sensor, a 6.4-inch QHD + display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors or proprietary Exynos 9-series, fingerprint scanner for LED flash, 6 GB RAM, 128GB internal memory 4000 mAh battery, Android 8.0 and protected from water.
We know that the terminal will have many things in common with the Galaxy S8, including the large format screen, but we did not know if the Galaxy Note 8 would finally have a built-in fingerprint reader or if it was going to keep the same in the back.
Thanks to new information we know that Samsung has been doing everything possible to integrate such a reader on the screen, but in the end could not do so due to the problems of inconsistency with the brightness of the screen that caused that.
After a terrible experience with the battery problems of the Galaxy Note 7, we understand perfectly that Samsung does not want to run the slightest risk, and that therefore has chosen to mount the fingerprint reader in the back of its next top-end phablet.
We hope that the South Korean firm has reconsidered and has not placed the fingerprint reader next to the camera as they did with the Galaxy S8, because in that position the finger has a “tendency” to go to the camera in more of an occasion.
