Samsung Galaxy S9 may skip its appearance at CES 2018

There are series of rumours that supporting Samsung Galaxy S9 will be shown at the 2018 CES, an event that as we know will take place next January in Los Angeles. Let’s discover, how true the Galaxy S9 rumours are?

This information had been maintained on a recurring basis under the argument that Samsung would like to accelerate the launch of its new top-of-the-range terminal to give no respite to Apple, which as we know is enjoying great success with the iPhone X, but a representative of the South Korean company has denied it.

Samsung Galaxy S9 may skip its appearance at CES 2018

According to a said representative, it is very unlikely that we will see the Galaxy S9 at the 2018 CES. This implies implicitly that the terminal will make its debut at the MWC in February 2018, although its official launch would not occur until the end of March or beginning of April.

Regarding the design and quality of finishes, we do not expect major changes compared to the Galaxy S8, in fact, we are convinced that there will be a strong continuity. Thus the Galaxy S9 should maintain the termination in metal and glass, the basic lines of the current model and the 18: 9 format.

However, some sources have commented that Samsung will raise the screen-front ratio so that the space occupied by the screen could rise to 90 %. If this prediction is fulfilled, said terminal would be very close to being an authentic all-screen smartphone.

Regarding the specifications, everything indicates that there will be two models with different screen sizes that, however, will share the rest of the features. There is the talk of a SoC Exynos 9810-Snapdragon 845, 6 GB of RAM, dual rear camera and 64 GB of expandable storage capacity.

The same hardware configuration can also be the part of upcoming LG G7, and iPhone X 2019. Having said that, still there are more chances, with the special display Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the all verdict of 2019.
