Samsung revealed the updated Notebook series 9. Four new models, portable and convertible, which will be exhibited at the CES of Las Vegas, which every year premieres in January the major technology fairs. And, the new updated Samsung Notebook series 9 2018 looks great.
Samsung is well known for dominating the global market for smartphones, SSDs or televisions. In PCs, it does not have too much catalogue in quantity, but in quality. The update of Notebook series 9 includes four models (three laptops and a convertible) with very good looking, thin chassis made in an alloy called Metal12 that Samsung says is lighter than aluminium, Intel Core U processors last generation with four cores and dedicated graphics.
Samsung Notebook series 9 notebooks will be offered in 13.3 and 15-inch sizes with native 1080p resolution and narrow bezels. It will also feature discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. They can install up to 16 Gbytes of DDR4 memory and 1 Tbyte PCIe SSD for mass storage.
As for the convertible (Notebook 9 Pen) follows the trend of the segment with a system of hinges that allows the screen to rotate up to 360 degrees to favour various modes of use, from ultraportable to tablet, through modes of ‘tent’ for presentations or multimedia display.
It includes an S Pen that we know for its inclusion in Galaxy tablets or Note smartphones, which does not require a battery and is included in the convertible case, supporting applications such as Samsung Notes and the Autodesk Sketchbook. All Samsung Notebook 9 include fingerprint reader compatible with Windows Hello and the convertible also comprises an infrared camera for facial recognition.
The series will debut in South Korea this month and will reach the international market in the first quarter of 2018 after its exhibition at CES.
