The existence of “lightened” Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with 4 GB of RAM is confirmed by the recent publication of the card of this smartphone in the database of the Chinese certification authority TENAA.
The model number is the same as for the other modifications of the 8th Note for the Middle Kingdom – SM-N9500. Any other differences, except for the amount of RAM, such a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 does not have:
- The same chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
- The same 64 GB of built-in flash memory UFS 2.1.
- Absolutely the same screen.
The remaining characteristics of Note 8 Light Edition, we will not list here. Apparently, its output is connected with Samsung’s desire to make the flagship novelty as accessible as possible on the huge and very promising Chinese market.
In addition to the version of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which has 4 GB “RAM”, it is interesting to indicate the output in the PRC variations with 128 and 256 GB of internal memory.
Will there be similar proposals in other countries – at the moment it is not known. The standard version of the Galaxy Note 8 Dual-SIM (SM-N950F) with 6 GB of RAM and an internal 64 GB drive with expandability is being prepared for sale.
Also in South Korea may be on sale top version of the smartphone Emperor Edition, which will have as much as 8 GB of RAM. The cost of it will probably go off-scale for $ 1,300. However, at the moment its existence was not confirmed.
In general, the new flagship Samsung is just starting its triumphal march in the mobile gadget market, so in the near future we are likely to have many more interesting news.
